From our Horsley & Hanningfield laboratories, Northumbrian Water Scientific Services (NWSS) offer microbiological and chemical analysis for swimming pools, spa pools and hot tub waters, as recommended in the pool water quality standards guidelines.
Our state of the art UKAS accredited laboratories use the latest analytical techniques and offer the following analysis:
- Coliforms & E.coli
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Aerobic colony counts
- Legionella
- Cryptosporidium & giardia
- pH, turbidity & solids
- Calcium, Magnesium & hardness
- Trihalomethanes (THM)
- On-site Free & Total chlorine
In addition to our analytical service we also offer a sampling service. This uses our highly trained and experienced samplers working to UKAS accredited sampling methods (where available). This service ensures that pool samples are collected using aseptic techniques and transported under appropriate refrigerated transport conditions.
