NWSS hosted a Private Water Supply (PWS) training event for local authorities on May 14th, receiving great feedback so far.
Attendees included staff from several county and borough councils throughout the North East. This training event was provided as a free service to help our local authority customers improve their knowledge and experience of appropriate sampling technique and related PWS issues.
The day included a presentation and a practical session on how to take PWS samples. This was supplemented by a presentation on the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and how water fittings issues can affect water quality.
