Northumbrian Water Scientific Services welcome Bob Wilson into the laboratory leadership team.
Bob has been recently been appointed as Laboratory Manager at the Horsley Laboratory in the Tyne valley.
Bob will be responsible for delivering the effective performance of the Microbiology, Cryptosporidium and Taste and Odour teams and the ongoing development of the Flow Cytometry section at Horsley.
Bob joined NWSS in the autumn of 2020, previously he was employed by a leading medical diagnostic company, where he held a variety of roles manufacturing and developing haemostasis in vitro diagnostic assays, the most recent being New Product Development Manager. That role involved working with stakeholders worldwide to design, develop, validate and deliver technical solutions tailored to specific regulatory environments and market requirements.
Outside Northumbrian Water, he is an active member of the Royal Society of Biology (RSB) and is currently working towards Charted Biologist (CBiol) status.
