On the 6th September 127 children will run in the Junior Great North Run 2014 to support their friend Oliver and raise money for CLIC Sargent.
Laboratory team leader Andrea Greally will be joining her two children, along with the rest of Ollies Army to run the Junior Great North in support of their friend Oliver and to raise money for charity.
In January, on the eve of Oliver′s operation the children from his class wanted to show Oliver how much they loved and cared about him. After school that evening over 20 of his class mates got together at ′Build A Bear′ in the Metro Centre to choose a bear, his outfit and accessories including sunglasses. They all made a wish on the little red hearts and one by one placed them into his bear, they took turns in giving the bear a hug and they even recorded their own wish, so everytime Oliver gave his bear a hug he sung out "Get Well Soon Oliver WE LOVE YOU!!”
Following Oliver′s operation, his whole school wanted to show their support for this brave little boy and struck upon the idea of running the Junior Great North Run.
